Birthday to my wonderful Mom AND 3 months to little Miss Natalie!!
First, a word about my Mom...
She is the best. I've always known that, but I didn't understand the full extent of it until I became a mom too. I am realizing more and more how lucky I am to have her and how grateful I am that I have such a great example for how to do this. We certainly won't do everything the exact same way, but I do think the underlying principles are the same.
Without going on about all the great talents she has and the wonderful ways she has influenced me (because she does have many talents and she has influenced my life probably more than any other person), I'll just say that I am really blessed to have her as my Mother. She has always taught me, loved me and been there for me. I love you Mom!
In honor of her birthday, my Mom requested some new pictures of Natalie and who am I to turn down the birthday wish of a new grandma?! So here you go Mom - I think they're pretty cute!
Oh, and just for the record, at three months Natalie is weighing in at 13 pounds and is 25.5 inches long.
I thought Natalie looked so sweet and spring-like in her church dress yesterday that I had to snap a few pictures. I have a particular love for this dress because I bought it back in June on the day I found out I was having a girl. Now nine months later, she finally got to wear it!
I found Natalie some little skinny jeans and I can't seem to get over how cute she looks in them. Just look at that cute little bottom..

...I found out I was pregnant with little Miss Natalie. It was exactly what I had been hoping for and yet it was a little mind-blowing to realize that a little baby was actually going to join our family. Now, one year later, I can't even begin to imagine my life without her. It seems strange that there was ever a time when I didn't know her sweet little personality and beautiful smile (which I wish I could show you, but she gets too distracted by the camera whenever I pull it out). I am so glad she is part of our family and feel so lucky to be her Mom. I love you Natalie!
