Leaves and Pumpkins

Fall is in full swing here and we have been trying to take advantage of the beautiful weather. Natalie loves being outside and picking up leaves that have fallen. I got a few cute shots of her the other day while she was in her element...

Last week Natalie and I had the chance to meet up with Russ one day for lunch at Cox Farms. It is right by his office and they have a fun Fall Festival every year with a pumpkin patch, hay rides, slides and lots of animals. Natalie enjoyed looking around at everything, petting a little cow and climbing on the pumpkins.

Outer Banks: Sunrise

The last day of our trip we experienced the beauty of a sunrise over the Atlantic.
What a spectacular start to the day!

Outer Banks: Beach Time

We just returned from a beautiful week down in the Outer Banks. We booked a house at the last minute with some good friends from our ward and I am so glad we did! It was such a wonderful week full of relaxation, sun, yummy food and great memories. We spent every day at the beach but one when we went to the Wilbur and Orville Wright Memorial. Natalie loved the sand (and unfortunately ate a bit too much) and the water. I was surprised how unafraid she was, especially when waves would come up and splash her because, even then, she loved it! That's my girl!
